A favorite talented designer who is also becoming a great friend released the Anastasia gowns this past weekend. I haven’t been seen in anything else since. As usual my snaps aren’t doing these gowns justice, so take a look at Lady Kouse’s own blog for a better view. These sets have 13 pieces! I really appreciate the slim skirt and long sleeves which create my favorite elven look.

The bell shaped ballroom skirts really are a better silouette (slim skirts have tendency to look like they are falling between your rear cheeks in SL), but the slim skirt is still my favorite. The bodice has an intricate embroidered pattern that is repeated in the sleeve and hem of the skirt. The beautiful gem colors just pop. I don’t have to envy the gowns any longer - I have a few different colors in my inventory now!

I’m way behind on posting this, because this gown was released by Ele Newell of The Oh! Factor a few weeks ago. My portrait abilities don’t do the gown justice, but I hope I do. It has become my favorite very quickly. I have a lot of medieval, elven and ball gowns and I admit that a lot of them have been my favorites. The texture in this gown is richer than any other in my closet. I wasn’t able to take a good photo of the Sol Invictus earrings that were a Christmas gift from Fairy’s Grove Creations on Aurora, but they are a perfect compliment to the gown. The shape of the earring mimics the trim on the gown very well. The earrings have about 24 different gemstone color changes and about 9 metal color changes.
Now that my shopping lust is satisfied, I’m also enjoying Ele’s blog SublimanaLuminations. I see so much reported regarding business activities in Second Life, art, music, and the seamier side of SL. It’s good to see Ele’s information about the opportunities for spiritual information and growth in SL. It’s fun to read her progress in designing for tinies too!
